Pacquiao Won Over Cotto—In And Out Of The Ring

November 21, 2009

For seven times in a row, Manny Pacquiao, one of the said all-time boxing greats, reigned in the ring once again. This time, Pacquiao proved his dominion in the boxing arena to the Puerto Rican boxing star, Miguel Cotto on the 12th round of the fight via TKO.

Cotto said at the end of the fight that Pacquiao is one of the best fighters and the best boxers that he ever fought. His trainer, Joe Santiago, also said that the Filipino boxer was stronger than they expected. Statements that further emphasize the greatness of Pacquiao inside the boxing ring.

Currently, Pacquiao is claimed to make a history in the world of boxing by winning seven titles in a row. These are the flyweight, junior featherweight, featherweight, junior lightweight, lightweight, junior welterweight and just recently, welterweight.

Pacquiao, known for his great agility and strength, is really amazing the people—not just in the Philippines but also in other parts of the world. His fight against Cotto only displayed that his speed and power weigh too much for Cotto to bear, the same fate that was faced by other opponents of Pacquiao on his previous boxing fights.

Because of the unfailing dominion that is being showed by Pacquiao while inside the boxing ring, his fans can hardly wait to know the next move for the king of boxing. This time, it is yet uncertain whether the great Filipino boxer will face Mayweather on his next fight. But whoever great boxer he is about to face next, it is for sure that many people from different parts of the world will feel excited to see how the greatest fighter in this era will  perform his  next game.
